As we celebrate 21 years of welcoming guests to Stonehouse Court, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared with our local community – and to give something back in return. This summer, we’re inviting nominations for a local family who truly deserves a well-earned break, with a chance to win a luxurious two-night stay at Little Court, our beautifully restored 19th-century coach house.
It all began in 2004, when Sarah Brewster became the owner of Stonehouse Court. Back then, the hotel was a very different place – a charming but timeworn building with dial-up internet and décor that hadn’t been touched in years. Determined to breathe new life into it, Sarah set about lovingly restoring the property, room by room. From the start, she envisioned Stonehouse Court not just as a hotel but as a hub for heartfelt hospitality, local connection and timeless charm.
In 2019, planning permission was secured for a significant expansion, including 14 additional guest rooms, new kitchen and spa facilities, and a solar roof on the Caroline Suite. Earlier this year, the number of bedrooms increased from 36 to 43 following the reintegration of Little Court with the main manor, signalling a new chapter in the venue’s ongoing evolution.
A heartfelt thank you to our community
Since opening our doors more than two decades ago, Stonehouse Court has been a hub for both cherished memories and community connection. To honour that legacy, we’re giving one family the opportunity to escape to the Cotswold countryside and experience the comfort and charm of our newest accommodation offering.

A summer celebration to remember
Earlier this season, we marked our anniversary with a garden party that brought together over 100 guests, including past and present staff, neighbours and friends. With live music, fizz and a BBQ on the lawn, it was a joyful celebration of the people who have helped shape our story.
Guests also had the chance to explore Little Court firsthand, discovering the blend of historic character and modern comfort that makes it so special.
