1. TERMS OF PAYMENT

~ 14 days from the date of invoice. Thereafter the Company reserves the right to charge interest at the rate of 3% above Royal Bank of Scotland base rate.

2. AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

i. Total cancellation of a conference/function

All initial booking deposits are non-refundable. Total cancellation will incur charges in line with the following:

• Up to 1 month prior to the first date of arrival 50% charge
• Thereafter 100% charge

ii. Reduction in Number of Delegates/Guests

An accurate projection of delegate numbers is required at the time of booking. Once delegate numbers are agreed, reductions will incur cancellation charges in line with the above: The percentage calculations will be based on the agreed delegate rate plus any pre-booked meals and drinks.

3. The Company reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without any liability on its part in the event of any damage or destruction of the Hotel by fire of other cause, any shortages of labour or food supplies, strikes, lock-outs or industrial action, or any other cause beyond the control of the Company which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking.

4. The Customer shall be responsible for the orderly and safe conduct of the function and shall have regard to any regulations imposed by any competent authority, and shall ensure that nothing shall be done which will constitute a breach of the law or anyway cause a nuisance or be an infringement of or occasion or render possible the forfeiture of the Licenses for the sale of wine, beer, spirits or for music and dancing or other permissions attaching to the Hired Premises. In particular the Customer shall ensure that there is no illegal betting or gaming. The Customer shall fully indemnify the Company against any claims, or loss or damage arising as a result of breach of this clause.

5. The company reserves the right to change, your meeting room without prior notification, should final numbers dictate.
