My career started at the age of 16 in the kitchens of the hotel where my father was the General Manager and it has remained my raison d’etre for nearly 20 years.
I trained at the Savoy under the eye of award winning Chef Anton Edelmann and learnt from the beginning that hard work and passion go hand in hand. Since then I have worked with many top chefs gaining skills and expertise and became Head Chef of Henry’s Restaurant at Stonehouse Court Hotel in November 2005.
My gastronomic philosophy is to offer my guests unpretentious and honest cuisine which is full of flavour, constructed with fresh produce from trusted local suppliers. My style of food is best described as a mix of English and French with a Malaysian slant.
I am proud and delighted that Stonehouse Court Hotel has been awarded two rosettes by the AA which is an outstanding achievement not only for myself but for my team.
